The LSQF hold the tri-annual International String Quartet Competition; the next competition will be held in April 2009.

We have dedicated a section of this website to the past winners of the competition which was started in 1979 by Yehudi Menuhin and Richard Sotnick, which includes the Alexander String Quartet, the Atrium String Quartet and the Casals Quartet.
